Educational Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engineering) Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics (Combined)/ Power Engineering/ B.Sc (H) in Physics with 03 years’ B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from any recognized Institute.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.15,600 – Rs.39,100/- & Grade Pay Rs.5,400/-
2. ASSISTANT ENGINEER (CIVIL)

Educational Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engineering) Degree in Civil Engineering/ Construction Engineering from any recognized Institute.

3. ASSISTANT ENGINEER (MECHANICAL)

Educational Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engineering) Degree in Mechanical Engineering from any recognized Institute.

4. ASSISTANT ENGINEER (IT&C)
No. of Vacancies: 12 Nos. (UR-04, SC-03, ST-01, OBC-03, PWD-01)
Educational Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engineering) Degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunication/ Electronics & Communication/ M.Sc (Computer Science)/ MCA/ B.Sc (Hons) with B.Tech (03 years’ duration) in Computer Science and Engineering from any recognized Institute.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.15,600 – Rs.39,100/- & Grade Pay Rs.5,400/-
Note: Candidates having adequate knowledge of communicating in Bengali/ Nepali language will be preferred.
The candidates who have appeared or are going to appear in the final examination to acquire the requisite academic degree or professional qualification are also eligible to apply.
The candidates willing to apply for the above posts will be required to appear in GATE-2019 in the corresponding GATE papers. See the Official Advt. for more details.
Candidates belonging to the category of SC, ST and OBC from States other than West Bengal will be treated under Unreserved category.
The candidates selected for the posts will be on Probation for a period of one year.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be on the basis of GATE-2019 score andPersonal Interview. The Personal Interview will be held in Kolkata. The Personal Interview will be held tentatively in the month of June, 2019.

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) — www.wbsedcl.in(See Application form’s link given below) from dated 07.03.2019 to 08.04.2019.
Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it in two copies on plain A4 size paper. One copy of the print-out must be retained by the candidate for future references and the other copy is to be send along with attested copies of testimonials (qualification certificate/mark sheet, age proof, caste certificate, experience certificate if applicable and etc), at the below given address so as to reach on or before 16.04.2019.
